MWe are delighted that Tim Hobson is once again exhibiting at Guggleton Gallery, Stalbridge with what looks to be a stunning collection of work.

It is hard to believe that Tim began his creative journey, developing his individual style, only ten years ago. Having retired from City life he and his wife Dilly chose to live and work in Dorset.

His exhibition is full of spirited and colourful figurative paintings many reflecting the rounded landscape and rustic characters of the country featuring horses and hunting expressing a somewhat light hearted approach to life.

There is a new development in Tim Hobson’s work through his sculptural cut out figures in plywood presenting groups of dancers and athletes that emanate great spirit and movement. Tim would like to think of these maquettes or models, leading to the creation of full sized groups cut out in sheet steel for a life in private gardens or public spaces and is open to commissions.

We look forward to seeing you at Guggleton.
