FONTHILL and the secrets it holds. A talk by Professor CAROLINE DAKERS
presenting the book for 2017 by UCL Press, exploring Fonthill’s cultural history
of one of the most famous estates in Britain through William Beckford and its
various owners, their houses, gardens and collections, their political, economic
and social power since the early 16th century to the present day. £10 including wine.

arrives at Guggleton for a family arts fortnight for the community.
This neo classical company will be working with local
artists and young people telling the story of Guggleton in Dance and
